Description
This is the quintessential Canadian jewellery as it is literally made from a piece of Canada! Wendy repurposes granite core samples of the Canadian Shield (i.e. stone that has been drilled from deep in the earth by mining companies). She cuts thin slices on a diamond saw to reveal the unique mineral face of each pendant. She then paints on the design and adds the sparkle of a single crystal ‘star’. Silver wire around the stone’s edge creates a secure hanging loop for this pendant.
Size: approx. 3/4″ x 1 7/8″ on a heavy 18″ sterling silver chain with lobster clasp.
We recommend removing jewellery when using sunscreen and prior to swimming or showering.
